Where's it at? my check engine light came on today and says my coolant temp sensor is either disconnected or shorted out, so i popped the hood today and wasnt sure quite which plug it was, help me out!

on the 2.2 its on the front right coner of the block near the seal of the headif your in front of the motor. ( at least this is where I riped one from the junkyard)

I think its in te same place on the 2.2 on both the cav an sunfire
does the sensor have one or two wires coming out of it, and what color is the plug? is it purple?

if you got a 2.2 its really easy to find. look at your motor and look at the front left corner (by your coolant tank). its the only sensor that is sticking up and going to a metal pipe
