Question about Power Windows
Wednesday, March 29, 2006 2:09 PM
Hi I have a crank up window in my 1997 Pontiac Sunfire. I was wondering if its possible to install power windows in my car, along with a power moon roof?

If this is possible aproximently how much am I looking to spend?

The windows you can do yourself. You can either get the regulators and stuff from a wrecker or you can get an aftermarket kit for it.

I'd go to a professional to have the sunroof installed. Expect to pay around a grand for a good one. You get what you pay for.

You'll need something for the remote to interact with. Normally the BCM controls those functions. It may be worth while to pick up an aftermarket security module to control the keyless entry functions.

For the windows, you can wire them up into a stock switch if you'd like.
