I recently got my transmission fluid changed at Green+Ross. They noticed the output shaft seal leaking, and i had them fix it as well. A few weeks later i noticed a little bit of rattle, and it seems as though the tranny was shifting inappropriately and just today i noticed a huge pile of red transmission fluid on my driveway. Crappy Tire told me that it was the transmission pan, one of the bolts was broken off. I'm taking my car to Green+Ross on monday, because they apparently aren't open past 2pm on saturday, and not at all on sunday.
My concern is with the rattle. If the transmission fluid is a bit low, will the transmission make rattling noises? I'm hoping when i top up the fluid the noise will go away.
