i was wondering if an electric supercharger actually works. The say that it is supposed to add horsepower through the rpm range. i was just looking for any opinions.

well, if you think that a regular electric motor can give you more horsepower then go for it... the answer is no. this question has been asked many times and i believe its in a faq or a sticky. if you search you can usually find the answer to any question that you have.

If it brakes..... say good bye to the engine. Nothing stopping the parts from entering and killer her.

Wild Weasels Faq wrote:Interestingly, the company from whom I got that image above even has a small disclaimer on their site with a list of cars that showed no gain from their units. The list included GM's 2.4L engine in both the Grand Am and Cavalier Z24. I suspect it likely includes all cars from ripped-off customers who bothered to get the system dyno tested.

lol.. not only did people waste their money on the charger itself, but then wasted money on a dyno run.

Eh, I thought about going the electric supercharger route. In the end, I just threw on a few decals to get the increase in HP I was looking for.

In hindsight though, I should've thrown on a decal of the electric supercharger. I'd be runnin' 11's fo sho.

Umm... Sunfires already have 140hp...

By the way, does anyone know of a way to silence the noise of the leafblower?
I can't hear the announcer anymore...
Oh, and any other mods would be cool to know too.
I'm only pushing about 1,120hp right now... I'd like to get to at least 2,000 before the June finals... I'm seriously thinking about getting a new transaxle setup, because it keeps breaking the cv joints for some odd reason.
