Should all of the antifreeze hoses be hooked up to something? i found one of them not connected but my friend said it might be an overflow hose, i noticed it was spitting out some antifreeze and it was full, i've also noticed that my temp gauge has been sitting halfway and sometimes gets kindof warm. anybody?

Yeah, one of them is for overflow and doesn't connect to anything.

The gauge should sit half way, and its not out of the ordinary for it to get a bit warm if you are sitting in traffic or at a standstill.

where would there be an overflow hose?.. on a 2.2 id imagine?

should be coming off of the expansion tank (that plastic one that's attached to the radiator)
