been a while since this subject has been brought up...

in South America, there is no "Pontiac". so GM sold the sunfire under the Chevrolet name. as far as i know, nobody has been able to come up with a part number for the "Chevrolet" trunk panel though.

People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......

all they changed is one exterior badge so the public knows that it's a Chevrolet product. as for the interior, why would GM spend that much money changing all those parts as well?

Ya it's been awhile since I've seen that, wasn't that chevrolet emblem just a red sticker or something? I remember people talking about it a long time ago and that's why they couldn't find the part number for the bezel, I could be wrong.

Yeah along time ago Monica & I (when we had our sunfires) were looking to pick up that Chevy trunk panel. It's like nonexistant though. I believe it just has to be a sticker on it, since it don't light up anyway.

that would make more sense than GM making a whole different part...
