intake or exhaust?
any intake will do. they are al lthe same
id say custom is the way to go. get a borla muffler and have some bend some pipe for you. add a resonator to cut down on the raspy sound

not really sure what you mean. no difference in cold air VS warm air intake.
custom VS premad exhaust. the custom will be cheaper and probaly have a better fit also. why spend $300 plus dollars on an exhaust when you can get one made for $150 (or around there)

as far as what? install? maintence?

I might be way off but are you asking which is better, installing a turbo on the exhaust manifold, or installing a turbo on the intake side of the engine? If thats the question, you can only install a turbo on the exhaust side of your engine. The turbo uses the gases escaping to spin a turbine, which in turn sucks in air and forces into the intake.
