Well welcome to my post, I felt the newbies would benefit more from this post so that's why I'm making it in here.
I'm sure most of you are aware that your stock tubing is 1 7/8's inches wide I believe. so let's say 2 inches.
As you can see from the pictures, the stock piping is the mostly rusted pipe, and my 2.25 is the silvery pipe. Notice how easily the 2.00 fits inside the 2.25. Now picture that much more area inside of your exhaust. Though it doesn't seem that much larger, multiply that by the several feet of piping that makes up your exhaust.
See how much more volume you can push out just with a wider exhaust?
In any case, these are pictures for those who are curious as to how much different stock is versus a good 2.25 job I hope this helps people get a better idea in their minds of how much difference upgrading your exhaust really makes.

That's my roomate's desk. My desk is to the right of the frame of the picture. and is a little smaller.
very good post. simple, but good. and 2.25 is the best size for the beginner tuner
People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......
