Now anyone else feel free to try you best to answer or post which you think is the answer. for some reason just got curious.

Question: I would like to know what the rarest 3rd gen cavalier made by GM is, including colour, engine, tranny ect........ example I would have to think its a 2002 with an ecotec manual and a four door. white(if they even came in white)

and question# did the 2002 ecotecs come in white?

Well I called you out NJHK (King Of Newbies).........lol

I would say the rarest 3rd gen J-body is the 4 door z24s which I belive were available in just 1 year.

As far as the 2002s being in white...now that I think of it, I've never seen any in white...that's up in the air for me.

By the way, I'm talking about 4 dr z24s in the United States standards...not Canada.

ya I was thinking on a more average not exact....now when you say Z24(2.4L) in 2002 I know they came in white, but I have never seen and ecotec in white 2002 that is.........

You being the king you probably know this but even the 2.2L Ecotec was called a Z24 here in Canada even up to 2005...........Here comes another wacky canadian comment....lol

Yes, I already know you crazy Canucks said "F U GM" and continue to call them Z24s but I was talking about US standards. One year there was a 4 door Z24 with a 2.4 motor (not sure what transmission) but a very rare car to find.

Also, cause I'm bored, I did some more research...

Doing a member search for JBO members with a 4 door Z24, it looks like they were only available in 2002 and only came in Automatic.

No problem. It's kinda hard to remember all that stuff. You know what I do and there is a ton of stuff I have to remember for the job.
Just a side note, when GM was proposing the 4 door Z24 several years ago, I wrote them and stated it was stupid since they already had the LS model that you could get the 2.4 in. I also asked them if they went ahead with a 4 door sports car, when were they going to make a 4 door Camaro or a 4 door Vette. Of course, I never got a response.

Thank goodness it was only one year. To me it was a stupid idea. Like I said, they already had the LS Sport. Why mess with the Z.

Because my Z is fully equiped and cost me alot more in insurance than the Ls.

I have a 4 doors Z and I'd prefer to have that than an Ls. It was not a stupid idea. You have the Z24 option and "body kit" and the 2.4 engine but 4 doors. People are more towards family car so a 4 door that look "sporty" can sell more than a sporty car.

Gm don't care about people who mod their car or use it for speed. There's alot more family than racers so they will sell more family cars than race cars.

Mfk I was stating my opinion about the 4 door Z. I guess you would also think that GM should have made a 4 door Z28. Let's not get into an argument over this. I was just stating my opinion on the matter.

The rarest of rare 3rd gen cars are the ones with the Aqua interior.

Ya know what's kinda rare but not extremely? 2002 Base Coupes w/ the Sport Appearance Package with a manual transmission... i rarely if ever saw a car like my old one... they were only offered for half of the 2002 model year and were usually bought by slushbox-driving teenage girls....

The camaro was never meant as a family car. The cavy is. Some people wan't a sporty look with a family car. So I could ask you if a 4 doors srt4 is stupid? Impreza?

It's all about taste. I prefer my 4 door Z to a 2 door for a few things. Easier to put stuff on the back seat, better view on the dead angle, more space in the back for the head(even in front)(I'm 6'3" so I need an higher roof).
