Ok i have 2 questions about the strut tower bars i got. I got the front and rear bars from Gravana Tuning. 1. How do you adjust them? I mean i installed the front one now what do i do to tightin them up. and how tight should it be front and rear? 2. How do u install the rear one? the front was easy as pie, now the back on im confused theres only one bolt coming up through and the rest dont have nuts of anything on them. How did you all attach them?

They aren't really made to be adjustable...you want them as tight as possible.

Can't help you with the rear, I personally didn't install my rear one, had a friend do it but I think it's the same theory of putting it on the strut bolt. They don't come with instructions?

When I put mine in, I had to go to a gm dealer and pick up the bolts so each thread had one, and yes you need to go to gm cuz apprently they are different then normal bolts........just tell them you need strut tower bolts..........

I have also hear that its better to install them with the tires off the ground like have the front 2 tires off the ground and put in the front one and then do the same for the back...............is this true.......anyone?

sound like it makes sence to have the suspension hanging and then tighten/tie them together

I have one true love in my life...And my girlfriend sits next to me in it

I only have a front brace on mine. You don't need any extra bolts for the front. You should also leave the car down. You don't want your suspension hanging by only one bolt when you take the other two off/loose.
As far as the rear bar, there was a post a few months ago on how to install them. It's late so give me some time and I might be able to find it.

I found what I think will help you on mounting the rear strut tower brace. Someone had almost the same question you did. Hopefully this will help you out. Read all the posts.

also make sure you have replaced your intake before you even try, all ecotecs orig intakes block the bar. And also you have to install it with the dip(in the bar) facing down and back tords the firewall. And if you have a replaced hood, it might not fit even with it, i had to cut a piece off my rk sport ram air hood to get it to fit. Alote of work if you just starting out. suggest getting intake first then strut bar
