Stupid seats...

I just got this thing... is there any way to make the seats more comfortable? Mine have the adjustable lumbar support, but it feels like it's not turning off all the way... like there's something stuck in my lower back the whole time. The seats are also too high, is there any way to lower them at all without cutting and welding?

What seats do you have? Aftermarket or OEM?

They are OEM with the upgraded covering (the velour stuff) and lumbar support on the driver's seat. I can't seem to find a comfortable position to sit in. I've never had this problem with any car I've ever owned before, but it might be because I'm going from a Grand Prix with more comfortable interior to the cramped Sunfire. I don't know though... I've been driving it for about 4 days now and my back still hurts when I sit in it for longer than about 20 minutes...

Yeah, that must be a big change. J-bodies aren't luxury cars by no means, just cheap daily drivers. Some people are very used to the seats...others go aftermarket

Good luck.. welcome to your J-body

Start with the seats, then follows the rest of the car

its cool, we have all been there

ow much would it be for a oem seat? cheaper then aftermarket? or more, my driver seat is broken, the lumbar support broke and caused two metal prongs to poke out the back of my seat

I think I'm going to pull the fabric and remove the lumbar support from the backrest. It should be more comfortable without that thing in there.
