Is there any difference in the body other than the two extra doors. Ex: Is the Sedan's roof higher than a coupe? Also, any difference in the 1/4 mile times on the average, assuming stock?
I think this belongs in the general forum. go to edmunds.com to find specs. the sedan will be heavier thus slower.

I know weight difference is very very little.

Very True.

but if you are like me and everywhere you go you have to drive 3 people aroudn the sedan is nicer, plus lets face it, how often do you see a moded sedan =P

I BEG to differ.

I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
I would actually rather have a 4 door, modded, kitted, clean looking 5 speed sedan over my 2 door.

4 doors represent!! i love my 4 door and i think its sexy as hell, even though its stock body, i love my headlights and taillights, plus when you look in the windows and see the nitrous bottle in the back seat, racing seats, and the big covered switch on the dash that says "nitrous arming" it just looks sexy
just wish it was spring so i could put my rims back on

I was kinda thinking about trading my sedan for a coupe, but now I think I'll keep it
I think, all things being equal, coupes look sportier than sedans. But you pay for that sportiness by giving up some convenience and practicality. Not to say that there aren't sporty looking sedans. The Audi S4, Chrysler 300C-SRT, Nissan Altima SE-R, and of course, every J-body sedan on this site
come to mind. I'd just rather have two doors than four when it comes to looks.

When I was on the car lot near the end of 03 I couldnt decide. Fianlly i came to the conclusion that the coupe was for me. No one gets in the back seat execpt my 2yr. old. The sedan looked like a peanut sittin out there. Dont get me wrong if someone tried to give me on i wouldnt refuse it. Plus i see a few really nice sedans skeetin around town
So i guess it really all depends on what you yourself want. They are both real nice models. The sport should have comee with a sin roof and some effects though in my eyes. But i just kick myself for not waiting for the Cobalt to come out.

not sure if your question was answered... me being 6 ft, a fit comfortably in a sedan than a coupe, so i do believe the roof is a little higher.
^^^no it is just higher in the back

There is another difference (least in cali there is) 2 door is more expensive for insurance than a 4 door haha

Tru dat.
I <3 my 4 door, no way I could manage moving in and out of the dorm, hauling siblings/friends around, etc, in a 2 door.

And that's why I like the 2 door. Make others drive
!
Save yourself the problem of head-room: Get a convertible. But comparing the two (using my conv. with the top up as a reference to a coupe and my sister's 4-door cavy) I'd say it all depends on what you plan on doing with it. For friends/family use I'd go with the 4-door unless you don't mind having to let them in and out all the time. If you're going for looks then there's a toss up of opinion. And if you're going for speed then I'd say couple but the sedans can be moded just the same.
