body kit questions

ok i've took off the front and back bumpers...and these things got in my way...

is there a way i can take em off and would it mess anything else up?

Trim it down, don't remove it. On a lot of kits that helps hold it up, so just trim it to fit. I used a sawzall.

ok thanks man i thought thats what i'd have to do but i wasnt sure and i didnt wanna start cutting stuff of if i didnt need to thanks for the info bro

yes its the crush guard and needs to be trimmed. i completely removed mine from the front and back because of my old kit. there was literally nothin' left so i just drilled out the rivets and took them off

I took mine completely off the front. And for the back I used a sawsall. The crush gave the somewhat flimsy type J rear good reinforcement.
