It's also in the Newbies FAQ. Like said, you can't chip 96+ OBDII computers.

it is a piggyback system not a chip

So you can't chip a 96+, but can you chip a 95 Sunfire 2.2?
tylEr wrote:So you can't chip a 96+, but can you chip a 95 Sunfire 2.2?
As long as it's not an OBDII computer, you can chip your computer.

Interesting...How exactly could I find out?
Yours is an automatic, and IIRC the automatics were OBDII while the manual were still OBDI

It still doesn't work. It's a POS. You need to learn how a car work before modifying it.

its a fancy'd up 5c resistor from radio shack.

First of all, none of those Project cars are GM cars...
Second, we said you can't chip or use module boxes on
our OBDII computers...they don't work.
Third, what is the point of coming on here and asking a question if you don't want accept our answer? Don't ask for advice in the future if you can't handle what we have to say back. If you have already set in your mind that it will work, fine, do it! Coming here to clarify if it will work won't mean sh** because you will only get pissed if we say it doesn't work.

who's the dumb@!#$ here exactly? These guys are trying to help you and help you save your money.
Want my advice? sell your car use the money for school or something.
Obviously you don't know anything about cars. Everything I looked on their site is BS. Do you know how timming is based on our engines? It's computer controlled dumba***. Even that litle s*** box will not do anything. Those "map controller" are just resistors. Unless you get a wideband (not that s***** A/F ratio gauge) and a few hundred $ on a real system (Crane, Msd, Accel), you will not be able to play with timming and get the real A/F ratio. If you're dumb enough to beleive what the company tell you then you're dumb enough to throw you over the cliff.
Good luck in your "modding". You're the next Jordan Kruger. Don't come here after buying that "awsome module" saying you beat a Lambo.

Tyler - All 2.2 in 95 were OBDI. Some rare cases were OBDII. It's the 2.3 auto that were OBDII.
Still the chip won't do anything.

If you care about your friend, don't let him buy it.
If he wants tuning capabilities, ask him how much he wants to spend because he can get anything from an FMU to a Standalone.
www.kronosperformance.com / 732-742-8837
he already has a lot of money in the motor
