I want to lose those extra pounds! help
You can take out your spare tire, back seat, carpet and so on. Also you can get CF hood and go with fiberglass fenders to loose some weight.

Whatever you aren't using you can take out but just remember that weight only does so much. In order to gain an advantage, you need to raise your power to weight ratio.

Be careful to remove your spair tire u might need it sometime!!!!
Dont go turning your car into a crx wannabe taking everything out just for the smallest gain

Yep, I did that. I also took out the airbags, seatbelts, and removed the doors. Helps shave off a few secs.
Seriously, don't bother stripping your car unless you're heading to the strip or (dare I say it) racing for big $$$. Take out things liek the radio, CDs/flashlights etc from the glovebox, back seats, trunk carpet, spare tire/jack/etc, don't have too much gas in the tank, don't eat too much... basically what everyone else said.
...there is a lot of heat shielding and brackets you can cut off the undercarriage. I had my mechanic take off anything that wasnt pertinent, and he took probably 25lbs worth of plastic/metal off the undercarriage alone.
...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.
buy a light wieght flywheel instaed cause every pound of rotational wieght is like 4 pounds static weight. plus light wieght pulleys and Carbon fiber axles
i wouldn't just go straight to buying a lighter fly, check into the pros and CONS of the fly before you buy it. you might change your mind.
you can take out you windshield washer bottle, that usually weights a lot.
the intake bong has a few pounds on it, (im ld9, don't know if others have the bong, yea im a little biased i guess)
backseat seatbelts, airbags, change steering wheel, change seats
