I have an aem short ram intake that I have to install because of the ram air hood, however Im having some trouble doing this. I know how to put the intake on, however when I look at the stock covers that cover the the filter, I notice near the firewall there is a clutch fluid reservoir bolted to the the lowere portion of the intake cover. This is for the LD9 with the Isuzu 5 spd tranny. Any help is appreciated. Like am I suppose to cut the existing intake filter cover to put the aem intake in.

if its anything like mine, the reservoir is connected to the stock intake box so if you remove the intake box, theres no where to put it so you cant zip tie it (atleast not to the box).
like suggested, you can fasten it to the firewall or you can get the clip for the reservoir, i think aem sells them
i got the aem bracket, but in my opinion, it does the same thing a zip tie or screw does, dont waste the 30 something dollars on it
For a while I just had the clip sitting over some of the vacuum lines or whatever is back by the mastre cylinder. But then I put a screw through the clip on the reservoir and mounted it on the strut tower.

i only spent $20 on the aem bracket! and i think it looks so much better than a zip tie! heres some pics!
imo if u want it 2 look good and clean dont b cheap and zip tie it. hope u get it worked out!
