simple question. how do you delete the top speed limiter that kicks in at i think 115 or 120 or somethin? im asking for my buddy who was a cavi, i personally am an mr2 guy but i have respect for the ecotech. please dont flame i know next to nothing about j-bodies and i did do some searching before i posted but i dont even know the technical name for watever it is that limits the car, rev limiter, top end limiter? i dunno please edjucate me thanks

basically, there's no need to unless you friend is going to trap at over 108 mph in the quarter mile race track. that being said, if he has the technical know-how to get his car to go that fast, he'll have the brains to figure out how to remove the speed limiter.

j-bodies are not made to handle those speeds as-is, and going that fast on public roads is not only highly illegal, but extremely dangerous.
