I was wondering about where the computer is located for my 98 4 door Cavy, and if anyone has found a good replacement for it and how well it performs. BTW i did search a couple of times and didnt get anything.

Should be in the glove box. And as far as I know the only replacement is a stand alone like Bagged said.

^ Its not in the glove box

Its in front of the passenger side front tire, behind the bumper, or its bolted to the passenger side strut tower.

Ok cause I know it was in the glove box on my older cav. So I just assumed. And you know what happens when you assume......

My car is stand alone.

Depending on what you're after, piggybacks like the Greddy E-Manage work OK within the confines of the stock ECU's limits, but if you want total control and the ability to eliminate certain factory "issues", go standalone like AEM's EMS or FAST.
