Thanks,
I also had a 1972 Monte, but I was hit and ran in it about 8 years back.. So I got this 1971 Monte... You can see my old 1972 Monte by going to
www.LBC-CarClub.com Look under Member Rides Link.. You will see my current Monte Carlo, but if you go to the "Retired Rides" you will find my old Monte Carlo's Pictures.. Along with what it looked like after I was hit!!
(I have a lot of pictures posted of my Current Monte under Member Rides, just click on the little picture next to my name and info... )

u ghettofied that poor car.

Welcome to JBO. That car is pretty sweet. One of my old bosses had one on 22" spokes and hydros. It was painted lime green. The probably sounds like a total "50-cent video" in the making, but the car was actually beautiful!
Your car is going to be a knock-out when it is painted. Hopefully there is more motor work in the future too!

Why Not...?? I was invited to join. Any way. My Monte is not "ghettofied"... It is "Low Rider Mild" & Lots of people like it, because it is not the every day stuff you see all over. (My Show car.)
Then I have my other Rides that are Mild Customs (every day drivers.). A 2000 Nissan Maxima & 2001 Nissan Frontier. Both with performance upgrades, with more to come on body and suspension up grades etc.
So I have the best of all worlds. Old School, Import, and Mini... The old School is just my favorite, since they are rare, Look Good, and not a lot of people do them up any more.
Oh well, more people have said they like it then not liked it, so I am happy.. :oD
