this is even worse than noob...but after locking my keys in my trunk on accident...i discoverd i had no way off gettin in other than through the back seat...and i have subs and it was really hard...so...how do you open the trunk other than the remote and key hole?

2000 z24 by the way


...are you trolls that dumb that you cant realize mid 15s is slower then 14s?

yes a spare key on a magnet holder hidden on your car. saves money in the long run if you have to call a locksmith its twice as much then making a spare and getting the magnet holder.

You could also install a momentary switch in the car and hook it up to the trunk solenoid. This is what I did. It's a remote trunk opener that should have been installed by GM when the cars were made.

They started putting them in for the 02 model year.

I was suprised my car had this. and before my mom got her new van (A honda odysey touring with friggin everything) she was amazed at that feature cause she never had a car with it haha.

Yes, they did in the 02 model year, but he has a 2000. I don't believe they had them in there for that model year of the Z.

you'll need a new trunk lock though. and someone might call the cops thinking you're breaking into the car.
