Over this summer ive spent lots on my car and i wanna give it alil more power next season so far i got
on a Sunfire manual 2k3 se
-Ram Air intake(rk sports hood custom intake)
-Pace setter headers(cheapos i know)
-Equilivaliant to a 2.5 inch exhaust, with magnaflow muffler and cat.
-75 direct shot of nos(nitrous express)
-tripple platnium spark plugs(guy at napa store said they used them for racing)
-mls head gasket(was recommnded if i was gonna use nos)
What im looking for is basically somehting that isnt gonna cost me more then 300-400 bucks to ad this winter while my car is in storage. Any ideas would help, Also the idea of adding lil things to help the over all perfoamce wouldnt bother me either.Hoping to leave internals alone.

motor mounts don't add power but restore lost power, pulleys, throttle body, suspension stuff will help get power to the ground (springs, shocks/struts, A arms)
short throw shifter helps too, new clutch, lightened flywheel...list goes on and on and on.

motor mounts, port n polish the head, larger throttle body, and i just realized u are using platinum spark plugs with nitrous...not a good idea...you should be using copper plugs that are 1-2 heat ranges colder...like ngk tr6 for 1 stage colder. So it seems like u went for all the stuff without researching. Definetly get motor mounts so u don't crack your header. and change your plugs. Most i can tell you though...research alot before you just do.

Equilvaliant exhaust? What specificly is it designed?
And i have triple platnium plugs, not for racing, just longevity.

indeed, ive only owned my car for about 5 months, i actually h8ted sunfires until one day one basically pulled up into a dealership as i was about to buy a civic and i fell in love with it
well technically nothing on a four banger is a header from my knowledge(which is limited), its a exhaust manifold.
and i just updated my profile, but i still have yet to get pics, as my camera is still in my gf's possesion.hopefully i can get that done today

you say you have nitrous express which is good i do also.
but then go ahead and say "(was recommnded if i was gonna use nos)"
key word there being is nos. when refering to nitrous in general, dont say nos. it makes you sound like a tool/ Fast and Furious wannabe. just say nitrous when generally speaking about it. it will save you a lot of crap in the future
you can get a bigger TB, ported and polish along with 3 or 5 angle valve job, motor mounts, tranny mounts (if you have a 5 speed), lightened flyhweel and new cutch, pulley, use either NGK TR6 or Autolite 103 for nitrous

first thing i would do is get the right sparkplugs before something messes up .. next the motor mounts since you have a pacesetter header .. do you havea flex pipe in there too?? if not i would suggest that too .. just a few things i would do to make it alittle more reliable and safe . for 3 or 400 u can get the mounts spark plugs a flex pipe(if u want) and i would go with the short shifter too .. that should be a good start for that price range.

UM? You know you dont need the flex piece if you have the poly mounts?

because he uses nitrous..thats y i say change plugs . and lke i said "if you want" to the flex pipe .its just a safety thing .. not needed but sometimes recomended .
