Thursday, October 06, 2005 2:45 PM
I just recently bought the streetfire front from a guy, and came acrossed 2 cracks on the lower lip of the front bumper.

I was told that i can get some really expensive glue to fix it...and then what would i do?

or is there some other way to fix it..

all help is always appreciated

You can get body sealer from an autobody store. If those are just minimal cracks you can fill it in let it dry sand it down and paint.

what would you consider minimal cracks? the one is okay but the other one is becoming noticeable

and would the body sealer be OK for the urethane? cause its really flimsy

Body sealer will work for fiberglass aluminum pretty much anythin on a car.

If there are pieces missing then that is pretty bad. Like there is a gap between the crack big enough to stick a pencil through. Wont fix that.

no crack is ok. over time it will get worse and worse, better to fix it now than later down the road. its it just a small hair-line crack, pick up some fusor 147. that stuff works good. you can also pm big daddy and ask him what he uses. i know he said he didnt like fusor and found something better so you can try pm'ing him.

There's fusor for urethane that will flex, and also flexible body fillers.

Any of this you can get at an Auto body store. The sealer is 3M and it acts like a glue so it will keep the crack from getting worse. Good Luck
