Hey guys. I'm new here. I just wanted to know if there are any battery relocation kits for a 1997 Cavalier Z24. I looked around and didn't find any. Just wondering if any of you know where I could find one.
Where are you trying to relocate it to? If you don't mind me asking, how come you would want to do it?

only reason it would need to be moved is if you were installing a turbo or s/c and it was in the way. yes you can move it to the trunk for better weight distribution but its really not going to help that much not for j bodys that is
check summit racing, they have universal kits, but really, all the stuff you need is available at a combination of walmart and an audio store, you need a battery box (walmart, automotive dept), J bolts for the box (walmart, automotive dept) a huge amount of 2 gauge or larger cabl, about 20 feet just to be sure (audio store, mabey walmart), and a new battery terminal (walmart) if your running on a track you need some kind of battery cut off switch or something, a racer would know more on that subject than I
but using those parts i listed is how we did that to my brothers neon and it works fine. it really makes the engine bay look a ton nicer

Alright. I'll look around. The reason I was asking was because I want to supercharge the car with a vortech 10psi supercharger.
