i got a 91 cavilier with custom paint, tail lights, headlights, and hood. it is black and its superfast. ive got weight reduction stage 3, very custom exhaust, blacked out rims with a chrome lip, all kinds of stuff. i relocated the battery and gastank. my car is so fast i love caviliers, i puled up next to a mustang and reved it... anyways my name is koble and i dont drive the cavilier when the weather is bad due to it being my baby. it just got repainted last week

Relocating the battery and gas tank from what I know can be good for two things.
1- better protection from the outside forces.
2-better weight distribution

2) people who swap in the 3800 s/c motor, relocate the battery in the trunk since that engine takes up just about everything
