Did our cars come with pre wired harneses? Like they just used one harness for every sunfire or cavi just didn't hook the power windows up or locks if it wasn't needed?

if memory serves me right......no the wiring is absent if your car didn't come with the option......but i could be wrong, mabey i just didn't look hard enough

depends i guess. my base model and the wiring already in for the third brake light in spoiler but mine didn't have a spoiler.

yeah ^^ opposite for me.......my car has the wiring for the 3rd break light in the rear window yet my Z24 came with the spoiler and 3rd breaklight......

Some things are pre-wired regardless of the options. Other things are not. IIRC power windows is not pre-wired. Engine/Power-train options in general are not pre-wired.
