ok im sure its somewhere in the forums but i have a headache and dont feel like reading through them. so if anyone could tell me what a good primer to use on the interior would be. That would be great. Thanx
kyrlon is about the best primer I have used but, mostly for exterior projects. If u sand it just roughs up the surface so the primer/paint will take, make sure there is no residue of anything of the to prime/paint other wise it will fish eye ,or have little blobs of unsmooth primer/paint.I hv not painted interior parts but will assume preping the surface inside or out would require the same prep work.

what kind of stupid question is that?

It's not stupid, painting an interior is stupid. What's wrong with the way it looks now?

Just because it is not something that you would do to your car does not make it stupid. Those that have painted their interiors have done so for a couple of different reasons. One would be to break the single color scheme to add some variety. Others for show purposes. And others just because they can.
havent you ever just wanted your car to be different from everyone elses. and stock is just so boring

Yes, I want to be different just like everyone else. Man, stock looks fugging sexy. If I painted anything in my interior, I might re-paint the black around my guages and stuff, but that's it.
Stock is not boring, is a stock Viper boring? Nope, it's sexy.

Dude, you say you want to be different. The only way to be different now, is to stay with a stock looking car. Because
EVERYONE is painting thier interiors, adding body-kits, rims, and all of these other excessories. Now while these may be somewhat cool, everyone has it. Stock isn't so original anymore.

Viper to Cavi/Fire = Apples to Oranges.
Again, just because it is not in your taste to paint your interior does not make the question stupid/pointless/etc. If done right, it could actually look quite good.
yea what he said

your a fag dude, why did you join this site? What kind of @!#$ car do you drive anyway?
here my "painted interior", although its not spray paint.......
whoop dee do, im a ricer now i guess, why dont you post it on your uber cool anti rice website like countless other @!#$s have done, you know you wanna. The only reason you got on this site was to start @!#$, i know that because ive been here for 4 years and have seen you @!#$s come and go on here.
The actual reason I joined here is so I could ask a question about my car. I didn't come here to start crap. And to whoever asked what I drive, just go read my n00b post, and if your too lazy to do that, click on my sig.
Yes I am a part of an anti-rice site, that site is down right now, I was going to post my question there, but I remembered about this place and decided you all would probably know more, after all, this site is devoted to J-body cars.
I will say, there are some cars on here that I would post on that anti-rice site, but that would just start a board war I bet, and no one needs that. And, I am not out to make enemies here.
I don't mean it to seem like I am trying to start crap, I am just making my opinion.

oh, umm, (slaps myself in the forhead), your ok then. I woke up in a bad mood to begin with this morning. You have to look at it this way though. As much as some people hate modded cars, its never going to go away. The stupid fast and furious generation of boneheads out there ruin it for the rest of us and that just causes people to stereotype people like me.
I mean hell, my next car is going to either be a new mustang, GTO, or an older WS6, it wont have a painted interior or any fancy cosmetic jobs, it would be nothing but a performance oriented car. I mod my cavalier like I do because its a fun car to work on in that kind of way.
The biggest part of the car, is the owner.
Say the owner has a stock 2.2 Li Cavalier, and has 500 + pounds of stereo, the most god-awful bodk-kit, HUGE wing, flourescent pink interior, and thinks his car has 300 extra horsepower from all of that, and his car can beat a Viper.. that's a ricer.
If your making the car how you want it, that's cool.. it's your own deal.
I think that the movie "The Fast and the Furious" made alot of people stereotypical to small cars and small import cars.
Now, some people get very nit-picky about it. Like on the car in your sig Angry One, the hood on the drawing... alot of people would call rice like no other on it, because it looks like the hood that goes on a WS6 (a.k.a the W5.6) Also on the Lambo doors, Im not much for those, they aren't bad, but not something I would do.
I just really don't like the body-kits that make the car look like a catfish. LOL
And wings, I like SMALL ones, like the stock wing on a Cavalier or something.. anything bigger is gaudy IMO.

What you know about Street Racing anyways? Only what Fast & Furious taught us....
SO EVERYTHING!
Glad to make you laugh.
I don't find the interiors that bad, although I would change the way they made the plastic siding in the backseat for the armrests... it just doesn't look quite right to me.
What color are you painting it anyway? Since your car is a dark color, you should probably stick with a darker color inside also..
