Newbie starting out

Hey everyone... Im the proud owner of a 2003 Cavy

I am a computer geek that knows nothing of cars (outside of changing oil and brake pads).

I was wondering what the advice of the modification gurus here would be? I am interested in interior mods and customization really... but I eventually want to work under the hood too.

So... where do I start? Thanks in advance to everyone who helps!!

Read the Faq's on the top of each forum, and read everything pertaining to your car in the main library.

yes and make sure you search before you ask a question. sometimes some topics have been driven into the ground so hard, people beg to be flamed when they ask the same question again.

I don't know about the interior mods since I did nothing to it and that I'm not going to, but as for under the hood there's the good old bolt-on stuff, pretty easy to do, for some stuff a good friend could be requiered . And like Lawnmowerracer the FAQ on the top of each forums is a good place to start, you'll learn some interesting things there. Good luck.

RSM
CarCustoms
Gravana

those are just 3 of the sites that have parts for our cars. i have ordered parts from each of those 3 sites. everything came within about 2 weeks time. and even if you dont get your part within 2 weeks time, dont come on here crying about. that gets nothing done. some people dont realize that

also, most people start with an intake and a crappy muffler. happy modding and Welcome
