hard to say on sound. what may sound good on my car, may sound like crap on yours.
get a resonator to go along with the exhaust. that will help with sound

Borla and Magnaflow (I personally have a magnaflow muffler). They have nice tones to them especially when you have an upgraded exhaust setup.

A Magnaflow muffler is what i have ,along with a pacesetter header, highflow cat, 2.25" pipe, and magnaflow resinator. I had a 3A racing muffler from AutoZone I had a while back, it had a very deep tone. That was the muffler without anything else. But like dude said before, every car differs with sound. All depends on engine, exhaust set up, pipe sizes and so on. QBE had a muffler only, sounded good. Then he got a header, and it sounded raspy, or hondaish. Get what we're saying?

Well Victor Wang, Depends on what kind of sound you want, Loud torturing sound you would want to buy a Cannon muffler, Or if you want a nice mellow sounding Flowmaster 40 series, Or Magnaflow muffler. The Cannon muffler is loud even with out a header just hooked up to a 2.25. Ive got Cannon muffler I drive my neighbours crazy, I might have to ditch it soon (hehe).

Good luck

If you just install a muffler (like Borla or Magnaflow), it should sound alright. You don't need to put resonators on if your not changing your piping cause you will still have your stock resonators on.

If your going for sound, just put a good muffler on and call it a day. If your going for performance, upgrade the rest of the exhaust system.

All you need is a Flowmaster 40 series muffler.

Yep what he said .... it's a good starter muffler but then when you are ready for a good Exhaust to equal performance then go with full exhaust system like Magnaflow.

I personally have the Flowmaster 40 and im really happy with it.
