Hi,
I know that with Japanese cars (i.e. Honda, Toyota) one can purchase the original
maintenance manual from the Manufacturer. My cousin always have original manuals for each of his import cars. These are thick manuals which contains complete
maintenance information/procedures for the car.
Is this the same with GM cars? Or are we limited to buying the 'Hanes' or Chilton manuals.
Thanks,
Gerry
there is a miantence part in my manual that came with my car. tells you what to change and when to change it at whatever mileage. dont know if thats what you are looking for
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I guess not. Manuals that come with the car are the 'user's manual'.
I'm referring to official manufacturer's repair manual.
Similar to the ones like these (in the case of the 4runner):

They are very nice to have if one plans on keeping the
car for long.
Gerry..
Gerry,
I know that in the back of my owners manual, it has an order for to order the Service Manuals from GM. They may be more costly, but they are right from GM.
