Since the weather was nice this weekend, I was motivated to get in the garage. The Cav is now on wheel dollies so I can somewhat easily move the Cav around the garage. I finished wiring 3 8ft sections of T8 light fixtures for the car half of the garage. Once I get the wiring harness labeled and removed, I can finally pull the motor and trans
I picked up this Sparco wheel and Momo hub quite a while ago, so they finally made it to the Cav. Once I had it test fitted, I think I will get a NR
I bought Fetter's center console several months ago too. I am unsure if I am going to leave it as is, or paint the top Cayenne Red ( I am leaning towards painting it )
I washed the Evo hood and hung it up with the stock one

I'm with this guy but I'm sure you are aware of what's going on!
I say leave the center console as is and paint the defrost vent graphite.

Yeah, the colors are alittle all over the place. Stock interior color is grey. I am going to replace the entire dash pad with a stock black one. Also thinking about going back to stock HVAC and fog light controls
If I leave the center console Fetter's gun metal grey, I think I would have to repaint the gauge bezel to match??

Maybe just paint the arm rest and leave the rest graphite on the console.

Glad to see a update.m
If you did a graphite dash, and top cover I think your dash bezel would be fine and leaving the console as Fetter did it would be fine.
I also say go away from white face on all your gauges.

I love progress!

Funny how trends come and go. We have been here long enough to see them all,

Right. I had white face gauges in my cav. Did away with the overlay on the cluster, just put in a wideband gauge and did black, but still my oil pressure and oil temp is white.

Yes to all of this. If the bezel is he only red painted piece I wouldn't be mad.

Just to bump my own thread, though I have not done much. I have not had much free time, but I am not that motivated at the moment

I have been following the PCV thread that Sweetness made years ago. I still have to drill and tap a 3rd hole in the plate for the check valve line

I guess I should update my own thread
I just got my turbo back from being rebuilt and upgraded. Hahn rebuilt the turbo and upgraded to a 20g and larger turbine housing. Wastegate is 8-10psi

I agree. Duck Tape is the best way to attach boost parts!
I just read this whole thread, and this is so clean and awesome!
Did you say my car looks slow??
Addicted to meth wrote:Great strap it to a motor and build some boost.
Not quite yet. I still have a lot of things to do before that happens. I may strap it to the stock motor so I can mock up charge pipes
Spencer wrote:nice coating on that turbine
Thanks...It turned out better than I thought. Too bad the exhaust manifold and downpipe may end coated in black
