I'm a big fan of the swap and the work that went into it, but I'm not a big fan (at all) of the exterior of the car...sorry.
looks great
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

You're seeing things.
I approve can't wait to finally get a house so I can start putting money to my own swap.
Want hub spacers rear disk brackets or trailing arm bushings? Shoot me a PM.
You lost me at those fenders, but I like everything else. Great job!

Probably because it doesnt have stock bumpers on it. Im glad that not everyone has sworn off body kits. Personally i dont think the tow hook and external battery posts fit the car. If the car is tracked then i can understand, but on a pure show car no so much.

Work looks great. Can definitely appreciate that. Only thing I'd change is the fenders.
i love that its Rhd, good job
paint is good,
2 tone is good.
00-02 headlight is good
hood is good
the idea of the body kit is good, but
the front is to wild
the sides are good
the rear is a little to plain.
and they dont flow reallt well panel to panel, the front looks alot lower then the rest.
being a rhd i would have went with trd front
and sides, or keep the j-type sides
and keep the rear as is.
i would go with some toyo taillights if you can get em.
and lose all the stickers
but all that matters is if you like it! you look at it everyday and spent the hard work to get where you are, and you picked the stuff because you liked it
it doesnt matter what we all think, its up to you

Well...my guess (on his behalf) would be the run-of-the-mill rims, all the gawdy "sponsorship" stickers on the windshield, the big fiberglass body kit, and how busy/loud the back end is...right down to the crooked license plate.
I can respect the work, but why did you put those fenders on when you have a set of mint looking toyo's?
lambocavy2000 wrote:please do explain to me how it is ugly?????? i would love to know
Body kit, fenders, wing, tail lights (and the lack there of) 90s tilted license plate, external battery posts, tow hook, mirrors, RIDE HEIGHT, wheels....... the only thing this car's got going for it is the RHD swap... you had LEGIT Toyo parts and neglected to use them.... tsk tsk.
If you woulda slapped on a lip kit, toyo tails, fenders, and mirrors, proper wheels and fitment, this car would be on point... but you went full on F&F with it.
Don't take it to heart, it's just my opinion.

ok a few things here i respect everyones opinion and im ok with that but there will be some changes made to it such as im putting the stock fenders back on it next winter time and also i have the air ride sitting at home that will be going on also. and i am redoing the trunk lid also to make the plat sit level but in a diff spot. the windshield decals are a bit of an overkill i understand that and i will be getting rid of of one side. lol i didnt want to make this a stock toyo but i was mainly going after the RHD and thats it as far as the toyo is concerned. at some point ill do this again to a diff cavy and turn that into a bone stock RHD toyota cavalier with all the parts the belong to it.
Love the RHD swap, but I have to Agree with most comments. Not feeling the overall exterior styiling. The trunk and kit dont do it for me at all. IMO a TRD kit would have been mint. The two tone is great. The Eco swap is great. I think with a few changes, the car would be a lot easier to appreciate.
mad props on the work man.
