Been in family its whole life, got it off my dad, now has 261,000 miles. original clutch and everything but wter pump timing set at 230K, and alternator.
2001 z24 lot of work i've done, even after all the car has been through before i got it painted last summer.
now it no longer sees rain or any bad weatherrr.
I would look into getting that chain swapped pretty soon.... thats a lot of miles and would hate to see it fail. It looks like a REALLY clean car.
The chain was swapped out when I met b the timing det, the water pump, timing chain/tensioner and all that was replaed while I was in there. plus at that time it had 229,000 miles. So i went ahead and did it
Looks great for a high miles car, most cars with that much mileage here are shot to pieces. New paint only helps so far, this is clean all around, I like it.

Thanks guys! and yes it is about a year old. Still looks the same, no exposure to bad weather, just tinted the whole windshield 70% and just turned 280,000 on her. still running excellent!
Just passed 290,000 on her today... just added a new radiator... still runs perfect, original clutch & motor/trans!
