Car looks nice. But why are you switching the intake manifold?

love the fuse box relocate! might move mine there. wonder if any of my clutch/manual trans stuff is in the way.
Is that LE5 any different from the regular 2.2 Ecotec manifold??? Reason I ask is because it's definitely not a 1 piece like the earlier 2.4 manifolds, and the runners look smaller too. Is it still an improvement over stock???

Was the fuse box a simple "pick up and move" or did you end up having to do some wire work?
2001 Cav Sedan LS - Work In Progress - Sunalier Status
kinda a pick up and move and i tucked some wires, didnt cut anything to move it, but had to move where the engine harness plug to interior plug was over closer to abs and brake booster.

Thats not an H.O. LE5. Mani. I thought there wasn't much difference with the style you picked up over our L61 mani's? I used to have one like Roofy posted and it breathed slightly better up top but never dyno'd before/after.
wheels look alot better. 4door love.
So mines not a LE5 h.o. manifold? Imma be pissed if its not.

It might be an LE5 manifold, but it is not a H.O. LE5 manifold.
Hope this helps.

^^^ That's what I was getting at. I knew they switched the design and I am not sure if it breathes as well as the older style.

Ecos are wired slightly different than LD9, if I recall correctly. I believe in the sticky someone explains it.

Yeah I found the sticky and did everything to the t but still turns on my track off light and stays in one setting on it.

All B&M shift plus turns on the trac off light. On ld9s the trac off light normally comes on at setting two. On ecotecs it seems to be vehicle dependent. Is it working when on? IE it is shifting harder and faster. Also, to reset it or go to a lower level you must restart the car. That is a PCM thing not a shift plus thing.
Say it is on level two, and then you turn the shift plus off. The PCM will leave it "on" until you restart the car.

Wheels look so much better than the previous. With the old ones seems u needed a bodykit lol
GMR has got nothing on this
I just got the shift Plus working in my 04 and the trac off light comes on in stage 2 but it's not on in stock mode or stage 1. Also like MD said must restart the car to change stages.
