You still have zipties holding your lip on...
wait...wasnt that what you had before? its hard to keep up
but shave that unibrow!!!
hmmmmm backround reminds me of Oregon!
i like that the grilles are all together again and the mesh brings it out more. sides the fact u STILL wont do the lip right i like it lol. you sure do like ur zip ties lol.
zipties stays... it saves my lip from getting ripped off the bumper or me losing it completely. if i bust a ziptie, i simply replace it. double sided tape wont hold with the inclines i drive up too
TABS.. no more cut "Fake" foglight holes lol
you can run short self taping screws into the back side of the lip to hold it on.
if mine can take road cones at 40+ mph autoxing, i'm sure it'll handle what you throw at it.
hmm... next time i take the bumper off i see about that.. i like that idea too. i didnt think there was enough material to even run screw into the lip.
on another note, i purchased MRThomsons flares off his droptop. Some will remember when Tabs had them on the car when he owned it. They are just sitting there
with the old bumper
and the replacement bumper.

just make sure you don't go too long with them or you'll have some fangs. LOL
I was able to run them into the material on the lip that the double sided tape sticks to. I got sick of the double sided tape giving up.
flares look great btw!!

thanks for the idea. i say an inch or less screw should do? im on the fence with the flares. i think they need wider wheels
Thesundownfire.
i dont like when things are molded in.
i think the screws i used were around 3/4"
make sure to use something with a broad head to keep them from pulling through.
yea that goes without saying. lol
Guess this means I can hang on to my TRD front. haha Looks good though! It'll look better once the flares are painted. I was cruising with mine in the standard black color for a few months.
get that TRD front done! lol
Aha! So this isnt a permanent thing after all. Ive already started working on it.
no just a deal i cant pass up. but it will be a thing i can go back and forth with when i get bored lol
I wish I could find a decent 00+ z front bumper. All the ones in the yard are busted up and the aftermarket ones dont fint for crap.
"Oil Leak ? What oil Leak ? Oh, Thats Just The Sweat From All The HorsePower!!"
I got one that's oem on my teal cav. Never been painted. But it has a crack in the middle slightly. Matter of fact i think i found my Z bumper ! lol just needs paint and some fixing. haha
cant wait to see the flares painted and on
This car will never see paint
