If everything is set up right you can dyno in any gear you want. I watched a car dyno in second third and fourth and all runs were within a few HP of eachother.

4 gear is usually the prefered gear usually closest to 1:1 ratio. we did a 4 and 3 gear pull to compare and we lost a 10hp.
Also I think everyone posting the crap in the comments looks just as dumb as the guy responding to them.
Since when did ride height determine how much power a car can make?
When did stock axles suck with 400whp?

Umm John the ride height had nothing to do with the power it MAKES. It has to do with how SAFE 468hp would NOT be with a ride height and low profile tires that he has.

Don't get me wrong I like the looks and the feel of a J with lowering springs, but I have worked on a J on stock ride height that made 356whp and 350 wtq. it had 18's, and it was no more unsafe than a lowered car.
Hell we have more unsafe cars on this site with rigged suspensions with 150whp.

Depends on the dyno. Dynojet will give you about the same power no matter the gear but will give more and more torque the higher gear you dyno in. Mustang and other eddy currents it doesnt matter as much, and on those dynos you can actually sometimes do 1/4 mile runs. Though you will put down the best 60 footers of your life on the dyno.

If he's at 468hp and only running a 13.2 I'd take it home and park It. Considering you can get those times on a Saab setup with half the hp.... I call BS....
