thats all for now since got lazy with the pictures, HOPEFULLY, I get to fixing tranny(or swap), debating the 03 sides (sitting here primed), shes tinted now, nice small subbox in trunk, just waiting to find JBO stickers (I swear Dave sent me 4-5 of them lol), new handles plan to put in over winter, a front lip being build since noone out here has a mold of the technique, not sure what else to do but the engine bay. maybe another engine build, and try for 13's? boost? bottle? build another car? add power options? drink more beer and think some more? lol
comments and suggestions welcome

The tail pipe and passenger tail light don't look straight. The hood looks great along with the interior minus the floor mats. My vote is turbo next!
2004 Cavalier Sedan
car looks really good but can i ask why all the swapping from the old car to the new on in first place?
gilligan
ya tail pipe getting fixed when I stop being lazy. the floor mats keep my floor clean lol, its not a show car. The storey behind the swapping, is my black car was deemed unsafe/illegal to be on the road after the move, so I bought the purple one for $400 and redid it all, the engine that was in it is sitting in my shed, this engine is fresh, and the engine from black car going into the sunfire lol
, and tranny swapping so can keep lsd lol
and the real isuzu gears

wow, i'm a fan for sure. purple z ftw!
Wow nice! Wish my purple Z looked half that good.
Progress looks good, lots of stuff done. Out of curiosity what made the other car dangerous/illegal?
something about height, exhaust, something about battery in trunk, not sure all the story. But I am shocked on all the good reviews, makes me wonder if go with 03 sides if will be the same lol I need to do something about the engine bay though, its a big mess, wish could relocated fuse box properly

I like but I want to hear more on why the other car was unsafe/illegal.
GMR has got nothing on this
well in this area Im in British Columbia Canada, they want the cars to stay stock I guess, and as we all know I cant do that so they complained about the gm wiring, complained about the intake mani (LO), claimed there was suppose to be an egr system on the 99?, said was too low for the road, even though ONLY 1.5 inch drop, claimed exhaust was too big, although laws stated across canada need resonator, cat, and all equal sized piping front to back, ummm something about battery in back (forget what it was), they claimed I had no airbags(obviously I put them in for inspection lol), they didnt like the racing seats said racing seats are not designed for cars so therefor need to be removed to due being safety hazard, there was a HUGE list. So they can kiss my butt, I moved all to the new car(plus more), and if I were to move back to Alberta I can sign my own damn papers lol
just sadly here in BC I cant cause I dont have the ticket for it

That is insane, glad I live where I do. They would fail an inspection on a car being lowered, maybe the battery, they wouldnt care about the size of the exhaust but might not like if it was loud. but the rest they would not care about and it would be stuff they would let me fix.
well I was ticked off 4 drifferent shops and the only 4 for the inspections, they all tagged it after new windshield and brakes, oh well picking up a z24 with sunrrof for $400 not bad, just like the car have sitting in my garage, thats the next project if I get it back on the road paid $400 for that one to everything but a sunroof lol

Gorgeous car. One of my favorite colors in a J. she really cleaned up nice. Love everything about this car. Now just remove the side moldings from the passenger side and you will be set to go.
Never mind, just realized that both side moldings are removed.
lol, ya been removed for a while I might go take more pics soon, but want to try and clean up the rats nest I call an engine bay lol

My '98 was that color, and I loved it. The thing about the 95-99 though, is that the body looks best untouched. The bumpers, the skirts, the side moldings.. they all look good together. It looks weird without the moldings, and I'm not a fan of the rear end, either. But yes, that paint cleaned up very nice, as well as the interior. Overall, I like it.
