Hello all,
Hit up a not-so-local dyno yesterday (closest dyno is like 4 hours away) and got some good baseline numbers for next season's cam selection.
I will post the sheet and video later tonight once I'm home, but I'm bored at work right now and I think it will be interesting to see what people think it made for power.
So put your guesses in now, closest to the real number gets a free ride in the car...LOL (**Note: Your responsible for meeting me near my house for aforementioned free ride...lol)
Vids and dyno sheet up in a few hours.
I'm going to say 199 whp and 185wtq
FU Tuning
Just throwing it out there. 213 hp 205 tq

I'm saying 434/490 give or take 1 or 2.
I was there, so far you're all wrong.
11.92 @ 122.69 MPH Rotrex Blower / Intercooled / Water-Meth / 100% Daily Driver / 381 WHP
Well so far is a tie between John Higgins and WHITECAVY... I will give you both free rides...lol
So I'm a little disappointed and happy all at the same time about the numbers from the dyno....
The car made
193whp 179wtq, so that is the bad news...
The good news is it made
193whp @ 6225rpm 179wtq @ 4825rpm
That is a hell of a lot lower than I expected to hit peak power.
I'm going to assume my cams are the leading culprit here, that and perhaps my lack of tuning skills. But it does explain why I couldn't best a 13.3 all season.
Either way, new cams for next year, dyno tune and a few other goodies.....son of a bitch will run 12's if it kills me.
On to the sheet and vid:
178/155
Buddy Club Ecotec Cavalier
* More to come *

I already posted the numbers...lol
I was gonna guess 189/175, but then I saw that you had already posted the numbers lol. I would have been close. Can't wait to see where you get with it next year!
congrats dude! thats awesome
13.22 @ 105.2
Not bad at all! Is the Afr plot in the graph accurate? This gives me great hope that my latest build with stage 3's will peak below 7k rpm.
That thing sounds wicked! Good luck with the cam decision.
-I drive my car to work-
lol same exact peak hp as ben's best
i was gonna guess somewhere around there. between reading the j-body records and seeing what cars run around here, its not that hard to gauge.
ben went 13.4 with 1.8 and you went 13.3 with 1.7, so.... right on the money power wise. you blew him away on the torque though, prolly due to his "high revver" intake manifold and you're LE5 manifold id wager...

Thanks guys!
Ryan - yes, AFR is quite off, wasn't reading properly since it was in my cutout. I wouldnt be shocked at all if the stage 3's where still wel below 7000rpm.
Brad - I thought Ben made his peak higher than that, guess I'm wrong tho, I was very happy with my TQ number!
Wow sounds awesome dude. Congrats.
Good job man!
