saw these two beauts in the junkyard last night, anyone know who they belong to? gonna go talk to the guy who owns the scrapyard tomorrow and see if i can snag me some goodies

one more, interesting to look at cause the more times i walked around both of them, the more i noticed, like the butchered front bumper under the headlights on the white one (headlight swap?) spoilerless trunk on the blue one ect,

i would try to snag that white drop top... i dont think it had a light swap. i just think the headlight bracket themselves are broke or just poor fitment.

yeah i'm going there tomorrow after work to see what the story behind them is, the vert is in a lot rougher shape then it looks in the pics, lots of good parts, would def need to be repainted and i'm not sure about the condition of the drive train, don't want too more cars, no room for em for 1 and also i dont have the time or money to sink into the vert to bring it back, but i see lots of goodies i want to snag for my fire.

don't know whats up with the verts bumper then, but up close you can see under the headlights looks like its been butchered with a sawzall or something, really rough edges...?

where are you located cody? What year is the convertible?

Sad o see it in that state. The other one im pretty sure I recognize from bcj as well but cant remember the guys name that owned it.

Should see if pats car still has the charger on it.

im going tomorrow after work cause there was noone around last night or today, im excited about the charger possibility!! im gonna take both sets of rims, suspension, rear disc swap, spoilerless fire trunk, triple guage a-pillar from the vert, and engine stuff i can find and any other goodies i see haha if it works out i can keep you guys posted and if you guys wanna buy any of the stuff you can have it for whatever the scrap yard wants for it, im not interested in making a profit id rather share this find with some jbody enthusiasts

If I recall its not a disk swap but a irs swap.

wow, thats a decent list... well i dont know what happened between then and now but its sitting in the backlot of our local towing company covered in dust... no plates on it. i guess ill find out tomorrow whats going on with it.

i wonder what suspension, I would maybe be interested in the pillar pod. Does is come with gauges?

it has guages but ive already got dips on the pod and suspension, read my earlier post

I'm more interested as to why they're in there rather than what parts they have. They look perfectly workable...

i know, im thinking the white one has a) drivetrain issues cause it looks fine exterior wise or b) was used as payment or collateral. and the cavfire in the back looks like the front ends been stripped for parts, also the engine is missing some things as well so poss. another drivetrain issue?

the vert looks like its been neglected,lots of paint damage, hood is spidered and the front bumper is yellowed badly? roof has tears and the interior is pretty beat up looking

the whits vert used to belong to a guy on bcjbody named Pat,The only good on that car is it had a s/c 2.4 and the IRS rear swap,Other that that the car is and was a bondo and MACO painted car..

The second car was a vancouver car,used to look ok when it was in good shape..

Both cars were sold to a guy named Derick,who used to live up in your neck of the woods,He also has a cobalt,and a red Sunfire,Not sure why he got rid of both of them kinda odd,but good for you if you can snag some parts off of them.

just talked to the junkyard owner, cars arent his, both are still in derrecks name, apperantly he left the tuning scene or whatever to run a reptile shop haha got his number gonna give him a call after work today,

still wating for a call back, im mostly interested in the wheels/suspension/strut bars, and some other random things, meaning the charger and accompanying harware would go to the highest bidder, if this all works out which it may very well not haha seems almost too good to be true to stumble across two js full of aftermarket goodies sitting in a backlot haha
