Well I finally got my GM electrical oil pressure sensor in. Now time to save for a wideband...LOL Oh and installed my fogs..FINALLY!!!

Well Im disappointed because the first gauge install came out GREAT. I cut the 52mm hole in the dash and forced the 52mm boost gauge in the dash....fit was really tight but perfect. I bended in the ac duct behind it so it wont get pushed out.

This time around I made the next hole and went at it with a sander to let the gauge squeeze in a little better. Well WRONG! I should have not done that cause I forgot the ac duct pushes it back out So time to hit the junkyard and try it again

I didnt want the pillar gauges...LIKE EVERY OTHER CAR ON THE ROAD HAS. So im trying to be different I guess. ON WITH THE PICS!!!

GMR has got nothing on this

solution to your gauge problem....just build it up by wrapping electrical tape around the gauge body...thats how i did mine.

Thanks, where do they still sell those shifters?

I tried the electrical tape but then I couldnt get it to go in. right now it has just one layer of it and I barely got it to go in but it can easily come right out im so dissapointed with myself

The more I see that front end the more I think of swapping mine to it. Nice job .

why not pop the dash, heat up the ac duct and move it out of the way. and then use the typical gauge fitting to secure the gauges to the backside of the dash?
