always been cut for the plate, 2 reasons i did so, one the lip was broken in the center to start, and 2 it would have been to skinny for my front. Just worked beter in 2. Here is a photo the day i put the bumper on before installing the plate....prob the only bumper i think looks beter with a plate lol i dunno what i'm going to do when i put the new et front on...may have to move to where i don't need a front plate lol
