Went to our local speed shop today and made some dyno pulls. I am content with the numbers for being at 11psi and on a stock block with 102k on the clock and running an old Super60. Made 248hp and 271ftlbs. Spikes 15psi and holds 11psi for these runs.
Played with the boost controller a bit more and saw well over 20psi on the street tonight... It's VERY picky. Looking to hold 15psi for the next track event.

Decided to run 16" wheels at the drag strip since my BFG 17"s were toast. Went with a 245/50/16 Nitto 555r. A bit taller and wider.

Track day is set for the 24th with the crew. Gunning for better than my current best of 12.8.

It will. Just not today.
Going to start looking into a new intake manifold and better turbo.

Why didn't you dyno @ 15!
Nice though!

thats awesome man!
but for the others, if that's impressive on a stock ld9 wouldn't 278 whp or 314 whp on a completely stock ecotec be just as impressive? idk maybe im missing it here.

The 314 was.
278 not anymore.
I know this car has more in it, because I have tuned a Ld9 to 266whp stock everything internally wise, just boost, and fuel.
FU Tuning
Car has a ton more in it, seen it action a few times!
clean car and nice numbers
needs more Boost STAT
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
I am currently spiking 19 psi and holding 14-15 psi in 3rd gear.
Should prove for much better track times. No more dyno this year however.
Controlling my boost pressure is slightly annoying with my internal gate and HBC pro.
This is also a heartbreaker Mustang dyno. My friends s/c mustang made 399hp on another dyno and 345hp on this one.

Good numbers for stock block.
Curious as to why changing turbo's? Going to an external wastegate one or something? My t3/t4 57 trim made 323, 285. Isnt your super 60 bigger than my 57 trim?

No, a super 60 is a full T3 turbo afaik, yours obviously is a hybrid with a bigger compressor housing.

Always wanted to see numbers from this thing as my setup was very similar(except auto), and I ran the same exact turbo for years. Best $50 I ever spent, came off a regal with the goofy turbine inlet, swapped on a .63 ford housing and was done. Only issues I had with holding boost was when I had a knockoff turbonetics mbc but I was also external with a tial 38. Should look into the turboxs dual stage, much simpler than ebc's and much more convenient than fooling with an mbc. Left the single stage alone since had a 10psi wg spring, second setting was at 12 which held perfect and spooled much better.
Was this with the tubular mani? Its def gotta have more in it, but damn it looks good doing it
Isn't there a new Nitto 05R tire out?

Came off a regal huh? Enlighten me on that one! I know these turbos were used on Fords and Chryslers. Currently using the Hallman pro mbc with steel ball and toughest spring. I believe that along with my internal gate actuator are the reasons I cannot control my boost properly..
These runs are definitely with the Fetter Header.

If I like this combo enough I will powdercoat the rims over winter.
Some more dyno day shots!
