First time posting pictures of my car. It is a 2001 z24 5 speed. Im 18, this is my first car. I love it. My dad got it btand new back in january 2001. He drovealot to work, i got it with 210000.It now has 243000. Runs so good still too, only had to do a water pump, timing chain, and alternator. original clutch and all.
I just repainted it last month after two bit*hes side swiped the front of my car and the roof started pelling clear coat a bit.
When I first got it- I Found The ls sport lips for 10 bucks(how lucky) i installed, a cold air intake with the AEM clutech reservoir bracket, smoked my taillights, strut bars and LS sport wheels off my Dad's 02 LSS.
Most work is very recent.
New paint, darken tint to 25%. Smoked taillights, tinted headlights & corners, I used lamin-x on my fog lights, i bought new ones. Installed Blue xenon headlight bulbs and 8000K HID fog lights. I took off the door moldings and added smoked tag covers to match the lights.
I just put all 4 new KYB GR2 struts on and mounts with 4 new Goodyear RSA high performance tires.
Ive done everything myself besides spray the paint.
My next plan is a turbo or supercharger.

The lamin-x i said i did on the fog lights arent in these pictures. I too thes ebefore I installed them

That's a hell of a nice first car. Mine was a '73 Nova... hell, my first J was an '85 lol. Sounds like it was well-kept, so you should have a long life ahead of you with this car. Take care of it.

Thanks everyone. yes this car was going over the edge cuz of damn other drivers and a deer, but i finally got the money to paint it up. and yes ive always did all the oi changes and regular maintance on it for years for my dad when he had it. also garage kept so even better.

I wonder if they are, but idk, you can see the plate without too much of a problem. the tags are bit messed up and dirty being white so i had to cover em up somehow, it'd look terrible with the new paint.

most of it stems from the cops needing the plate to point their radar and lasor guns at... but, if they cant see the numbers they cant run them and speed cameras etc have a hard time as well. they need to be able to see the characters clearly.. well, that and its just another "probable" cause to pull someone over.

Thanks man, I appreciate that alot! This car and I have gone through alot. Before I got it painted, 2 older chicks took out the front left off it, insurance didnt pay cuz they couldnt prove the hit me, so I had to end up getting a new fender and fixing the bumper, which then i sanded down and spray painted the bumer and fender with the auto spray from autozone. And a deer smacked the quarter panel one night and dented it some above the hweel well and I had a bit of rust starting on it behind the door. but now I'm so thankful to saved the money for it working 6 days a week almost 40 hours, going to high school everyday, and paing for my own gas and insurance. but this car means a whole bunch to me. i cant wait to build an engine for it
just pull the front plate off and don't worry bout it. that's what i did
