I bet they did that to keep gauge function without the stock ecu or bcm

Not sure how well the speedometer is functioning. From the one pick it looks tached out.
nice but no under hood pics?
GMR has got nothing on this

i thought that is just a base model cluster? really looks like the one out of my sedan.
Figured there would be some appreciation for it. Wish id have been able to talk to the team/builder.
I wasn't comfortable with popping the hood myself, especially before his big pass, which is when i took the pics.
Here's that vid! Forgive the filming. I was ill prepared, obviously. Oh and the goofy kid in the beginning is some kid from school lol.
I love it, bit I'd love it more if they got rid of the 03 style tails/trunk filler. I like the gauges recessed where the top steering column cover would usually be, very clean execution for the whole car. There's a yellow 03 themed cav I usually see run NHRA when I go to maple grove, reminds me of this car
Sick i really like that color, o an matt the yellow cav you've seen is mine

i just the love the fact that the exterior and interior is mostly intact, that boggles my mind, even down to the headlights
lol nearly an 8 second car with an un-cracked dash. nice.
What you see is what you get, too.
All of the fabrication was flawless, and clean. When I moved to the interior, I was suprised too to see a full dash intact and armoraled! Wonder what his motivation was.
Glad to hear your all enjoying it as much as I did.
I like that it has fog lights, but no fog light switch.

He must have got his dash in NY, lol
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

Hey now! You remember me going over this with you before. I'm in NY and I have 3 cracks!
lol.
I highly doubt the cluster is working, if you look closely to the speedo, it looks like the needle is all the way to the right at the 110 mph mark. But it could just be the pic. But nonetheless great looking car!
hope he remembered to remove the limiter!
Very clean and well done car... bravo
I agree he shouldv'e removed the trunk filler, if he would've done the carbon filler he could've been in the 8's..noob.
...and he needs some huge spacers so he can be hellaflush yo.
haha but really it is awesome to see it intact as it is. Really cool car!
That car is awesome.
It would look way better with spacers in the rear, but we know that would probably be dumb on this car,.
