Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

TOTALLY not trying to be a dick at all, but I am just wondering why you would pick something like this that takes is custom one off wheel setup with stock vette wheels, when you could get wheels that are made for the car and it would be easier, probably cheaper, and look just as good or better? Is it because its wider for more traction, or just to look unique, or whatever? I truly am curious, and like I said, no disrespect, I just haven't seen it addressed why you are doing it. I do think it looks cool though and I really hope this isnt taken the wrong way.

Stretched tires = PHUCKING FAIL!!!! Unsafe, prone to blowouts, and don't look good on Corvette wheels. The wheels would look awesome on your car though.

This.

In the first pic I liked it. But then I saw in the second pic the wheels sticking out and stretched tires. Sorry but I can't stand the stanced movement. But hey, its your car.

the amount of strech he has on these tires is no more than bmw jaguar or any other high end car company runs factory.

he had these wheels and tires already for another car he has. i guess the other car needs some work.

actually i hate the stretch, it needs more stretch but with a different tire size i dont think the coilovers will go low enough. I dont think they will go low enough even with this tire size.

so with that said, its either gonna be done right or not at all. im not gonna put the wheels on with improper ride height, if the car wont go low enough then this will never get done. and the reason ive never actually got this done is my J's are on the back burner, kinda hard to play with j's when they are not that cool.

yea this amount of stretch is damn near nothing. i want more.

actually the other car, my 96 z24, I began parting out, i sold the coilovers and some other parts and im selling the car. i did clean up the bay a bit on that car but i used the purple paint i had for the sunfire on the cav and idk if i like how it turned out. also i never finished the bay because im selling the car and not looking to put any more work into something im getting rid of.

Oh please fill us in with all your experience with stretched tires.... It's perfectly safe if you don't take it to the extreme.

I hate stretched tires but IMHO it looks more like the tires have the rim protector lip more then it looks like they are stretch.

But all things considered, hit the reset button, your on your last guy with no continues and almost no health.... your not winning this round.
