i never talk about my camera.
The manufacturer doesnt pay me to be a walking billboard for them.
Not a single logo left on my lenses or my body for just that reason =]

As for what i did during post-
Of course, there's a black and white shot in there,
everything else-

Darkened blacks a bit; Threw some post vinaigrette in there, boosted the saturation in some of them to get the background to pop, and that's about it.

I dont typically shoot cars; Most of my work is nature/ portrait work.
My style is completely photojournalistic, and i work with vivid colors.

You'll never see any of my images edited like anyone elses.
I love color that pops, hence the darkened blacks, and vibrant greens/ reds.

These are all daytime shots.
Carted umbrellas, strobes, and softboxes onto location and ran them all off a power inverter in my car.

my belief when it comes to lighting, is that the background is there to aid the image; not be the focus.
The car is perfectly lit when this notion of composition is applied.
If you dont have an interesting/ clear thumbnail on your desktop, you dont have a quality image as an end result.

Think about it from that perspective; and i assure you, an "Ahhh, I get it now" Will be soon to follow.

The first two pics is pretty bomb. I like the rest too but just take some getting used to.

Very nice man I like the photos man. Thanks for explaining how you did it as well.

I love these. Vignette always seems to make a picture nicer and bring more focus onto the car, background is really neat. I like how vibrant they are too!

Honestly, sorry that you put so much typing into basically saying "I'm a stuck up photosnob hipster". but I really think you over saturated and darkened the pictures. Your idea of perfectly lit is off to me. And I bet "I don't talk about my equipment, I even removed their name" means lower end DSLR you're scared your equally as snobby photo buddies laugh at? Seriously... get over yourself. The pics sucked.

I dislike people who are too stuck up to share what they use. I see you like to use auto. These are just poorly taken pictures with too much image enhancing. They seriously gave me a headache after looking at them for 5 seconds.

yeah every digital pic now has basically all the info stored on it. so with a simple program you can pull up every bit of detail on a photo. thats why i don't get why the OP has to play the whole " im not a walking billboard" responce.
