Well for the most part, my vert is relatively the same, as usual. Just did a few minor changes over the spring. Finally upgraded the front brakes to cross drilled and slotted rotors as well as replaced my passenger front wheel hub due to stripped lugs form the idiot at the tire shop that mounted my wheels back on. I underestimated how easy the studs were to change, hence the hub replacement, but I also changed the broken studs, so now my old hub is good as new just in case. Also, all of these are just iPhone pics, my car is filthy and I've been too busy to break out the DSLR lately. C&C welcome! And I'm really bored with my car honestly, so Once the cf hood wrap comes off, I'll just keep her clean and running until I save up for something newer/better most likely.
In addition, I was able to get a 2 yard roll of 3M's latest 1080 car wrap in the dry carbon, so I wrapped my hood in it. I'm honestly not crazy about the end product, and I think it'll come off after the pollen. But let me know what you guys think, good or bad!

Fake cf ftl... I like the rest of it though.
i dig the updates but not the Fake CF hood
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
wonder if you could clear over the wrap....hmm prolly not.
It actually didn't come out that bad.
Want hub spacers? Shoot me a PM.
Maybe its just me but ilike the look of that vinyl a lot looking to do that to mine as well as roof and trunk as well as minor parts inside, not a fan of the gloss cf

It didn't turn out too bad at all. But it is an appearance mod only. Obviously it doesnt have weight reduction or anything. But I personally love CF and approve for appearance.
If you don't mind me asking, how much was a roll of that stuff?
i like it interested in price... on account of a horribly peeling roof and hood
Do tell please! Some of us like appearence as much as others do performance, besides we can't all spend thousands on our dd

No you can't clear over it, but you can get cf vinyl with a clear laminate over it(aka vinyl clear coat)
I see wrinkles sir!!!
I like it though, would flow better on a different color car though imo
How about silver!!!!;-p

For everyone asking about price, I saw the exact same stuff on ebay for about $100.
Here is a 60" square piece which is about 2 yards and perfect. I wish the interior pieces were easier to wrap... The hood doesn't have any wrinkles, but from certain angles you can see the weave is a little wavy from not being able to get it on perfectly straight or where the vinyl stuck but had to be moved. It was definitely a 2 man job and it took a lot of patience! Probably about 3-4 hours getting it all said and done. If I had a coupe, especially a different color, wrapping the roof would look awesome. On black though, it just looks dull/matte to me, hence why it'll be coming off shortly, I like my car all black, I think it looks cleaner. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I really like that car, not the hood so much, but I've never liked CF on black cars....now get some coilovers and some mb battles and be done with it...lol
your car is sooo clean. idk how you keep it looking that way?!
DOPER.
from any real distance, the hood just looks satin... not quite matte, but I dont see the carbon at all except for when you're right up to it. it doesnt look bad either way tho, and if you had a hardtop, it'd look good on the roof and trunk to make it like a 2-tone effect. and as stated before, it sucks that you're bored with such a nice car
