Blew the welds on the manifold....

Well see now everyone knows why Im shopping around for a different turbo mani......dam I spent my whole sunday mourning and afternoon getting this thing out of there. The two hoses that I hate the most on an LD9 gave me trouble once again.

The coolant hose from the over flow tank and that goes over the manifold and to the water outlet.....and the dam black aluminium vacuum hose that bolts to the cam tower along with the oil dip stick. I hate those dam hoses! I can't wait to reroute them like i did on my Oldsmobile. And on top of that there were bolts that were also a bitch to get too. Some came loose then the wrench got stuck...LOL. I couldnt take out the turbo w/ the manifold cause one bolt was impossible. Then I tried the downpipe but I gave up on that...so finally got it out with just the manifold

Today I was SUPPOSE to go to my friends house and add LSJ injectors, do some data logging, and add a quick tune. I hate when things go wrong!

So now the GTZ will attend the GM bash instead of the Ztwofour. Well atleast now Scott gets to see my GTZ at the bash

GMR has got nothing on this

who did the welding? it looks very amateur; most of them are severely undercut.

its a problem with most manifolds... even my lingenfelter was cracked to @!#$ like this.

stress cuts, jet hot coating and possibly a brace underneath to take some of the weight could help this issue...
