Well I dont know about record breaking but I did hit my new personal best. I dont have time to go into the changes of the car and things like that right now as I need to get to bed but I thought I would post up the vids and then elaborate tomorrow. Sorry for the poor sound quality on the gopro cam, havent got it dialed in yet.

Haha like I said, lovin it. Too calm and collective during the whole run and after once you got the slip. I'd be way more excited haha.
Also talked to the mfba people, they said you are more than welcome to come and run!
Inspiring, not sure what else to say lol.

Great job cam! What tires are you on? What suspension are you running? How are you staging your car, do you have a line lock? How did your clutch look last time your trans was out? Lol hitting you with a lot of questions

According to his profile listings Mickey Thompson tire, ground control / koni yellows, he is using b&m line lock and previously mentioned was using his hand brake, he also running a twin disc clutch. But he did say some things changed.
CAM- beautiful. Just simply beautiful.
Thanks for all the comments guys.
Ok so I will start off with what I changed. I changed the rear ground control spings with 1000lbs springs, not sure what the stock ground contols are but these are much stiffer. Then I removed the optima battery and 15 gallon cell from the truck and replaced them with a 6lbs braile battery and 1 gallon cell and mounted them in the front of the front tires behind the headlights. Ill have to post up some pics later. Then I went through all of the wiring harnesses and eliminated everything that was not needed. I also got around to mounting my base model rear clip to match the rest of the car and drilled holes in it to reduce drag. Its not painted yet but will be soon enough. So thats all that has changed and tomorrow im getting my new M & H slicks mounted up, so we will see how those do. Currently im running Mickey Thompson 24.5-8.0-15 and the M & H's are 24.5-8.5-15. So not much of a difference in size but hopefully they work a little better.
Ok and now on with the story of last sunday. So sunday morning I get up, load up the car and track equipment head to the gas station to fuel up the truck and my buddy calls and tells me he is the only one in the parking lot at the drag strip. They tell him they are gonna close for the day so he told me not to come and he was heading back to town. So we all meet up at my house and try to figure out where to go. So the local track that is 20mins away is closed we started calling some other tracks. They were either not opened yet or closed also because of the chance of rain. So nothing was looking promising and we almost gave up. Then I said hey back in the day when we started racing we wouldnt of given up this easy. Why dont we try Indiana. So we call them and they are open. This is a 2.5 hour drive and they were only open from noon to 4 and we didnt leave till 11, but we decided to go anyways. So after the long ride we finally get to the track. And to my supprise there was only like 10 cars there. This was great news cause we only had 2 hours left till they closed and I got 4 runs in. Well and the rest you have seen. It was extremely windy that day. I would have to guess it was at least 30 to 40 mph winds all day in the wrong direction. So all I will say was I was extremely suprised after the very first run and it was faster then my fastest time previously. The car 60ft.ed way harder then it ever did. It was short timing in 1.64 seconds and my previous ones were usually 1.74ish so big improvement there. Then the next run was even faster with the 10.3 and I just couldnt believe it. Well so then after they closed we headed back to Illinois and wouldnt you believe it got a damn flat tire on the trailer. But no damage so all was good just gotta get a new tire. So that was my exciting day. Now on with the questions.
Brandon: The tires were the Mickey Thompsons as mentioned above, suspension is ground control coilovers with koni yellows and the rear springs were replaced with 1000lbs springs. And yes I preload with a linelock on the rear brakes. Um and last time I had the clutch out it had hot spots in it but it has had them in it ever since the first time I ran the car and it always holds, so i dont worry about it but I will take some pics of it the next time its out.
sunburst04cav: The gopro camera is very cool. I like it alot the only problem is the standard def. one is a little hard to navigate through until you learn it and its hard to get good sound out of it in a loud car. Now I have heard the newer HD versions are way better and are way better on sound quality. i will actually be purchasing one in the near future. Hope that helps.
So thats everything, any questions please ask and sorry for the story just thought I would share. Thanks again for all your comments.
Oh and incase anyone is in the area this next Saturday the 9th I believe I will be going to byron dragway in Illinois if anyone wants to come hang out at the track.

The HD GoPros are waaaaaaaay better, wind noise is still a bitch but you don't get the static like the old ones. And the only way to get around wind noise is with high dollar setups with remote microphones. For the money, it's hard to beat. I love mine.
Anyway, fantastic work, that is a damn fast car.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Man good job...full of win.
Wow. Very impressive indeed.
