So, I said F winter, if it snows again, it snows again and I will drive slower. I just couldn't wait anymore to get my wheels on.
I have some rust issues I need to deal with, make her a bit more show worthy (I don't go to shows, but I like her to look like a street driven show car, or at least close to that). I put on new calipers (want to paint them black now), and I still need to paint the drums. Installed Powerslot rotors. I also have to get underneath and por-15 the subframe and the rear axle too. Basically an over all clean up. She's got just about 100k miles on her now, and the paint is starting to show that in a few select places. This year's winter was terrible here in the north east, and I can't believe it's still trying to hold on by the skin of it's teeth. At some point in the next month, I'm going to give her a clay, buff and wax. Make everything really shine. I'll be sure to do a proper photo shoot then.
I'm also hoping at this time next year I'll be able to have her painted.
So, nothing extreme with my cavi. I really like to factory ls kit, and I plan on keeping it that way. Only thing I'm debating on right now is removing the door moldings since they are so banged up (but then again, they are banged up and not my doors). Also before I paint I might get a hood of some kind, but again undecided on that too. I'm quite satisfied with the exterior as it sits, so yeah...
Even though this pic is kinda blurry, I like it.
And these are my two favorite pics
Those wheels looks great. It would have been nice if you would have at least pulled the car out of the space to take pics, lol.. and by the looks of your situation, don't remove the door strikes!
* * BIG FOR SALE POST * *
Yeah I would have, but I'm actually sick. F-ing virus. I had just enough energy in me today to get these wheels on this morning, then I crashed. Woke up about 2 hours ago, and realized it was getting dark so I ran outside and snapped a couple pics.
I promise a better shoot is coming. Maybe next weekend i'll run up to the college and take some shots there.
POS cavy!
im loving the new wheels man!
gotta meet up again soon when your not a zombie
Absolutely man. You get your new car yet? I'd like to see it.
And thanks to both of you for the comments.
yeah man got it a week or so ago!
ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT
Car looks good. Now get a carbon fiber trunk and toyo tails to remove that 03+ rear trunk look.
GMR has got nothing on this
I love it! It's so clean and simple! It's too bad your doors would get banged up if you removed the side moldings because that's the only thing I'm not a fan of, but they serve a purpose so I understand. I agree about doing something with the rear end too because the '03-'05 rear ends are hideous. Seeing these pictures makes me want an '03-'05 LSS Sedan though
!

Thank you for saying you want to paint the calipers black and not red or some other hideous color that would totally ruin the killer look you have going!
Nice, I dig it.
I jumped the gun and threw my wheels on early too.
Nice car bro those wheels look good on it for sure!

Yeah I'm not into the red calipers. Paint them black, (as well the drums in my case) to hide them. Shows off the wheels more, take attention away from behind the wheel and keeps it at the wheel.
And thanks for the comments Evan, DOHC_Tuner, Mike, and tony. I was going to do something with the trunk, but that fell through unfortunately when a more important bill came up, so it's whatever. I'm actually thinking about keeping the 03+ tails because it's different. Everybody else gets rid of them. I like being different, so I might keep them.

Exactly! When they're black, they just look nice and clean without drawing too much attention.
You can swap in the black AC and DEF buttons too
Good lord I'm getting bad for posting in the wrong threads.
