Had a nice day out so I decided to swap out the civic tails out of the coupe with the ones from the sedan, personally I think they look much better on the silver than they did on the blue, I also swapped in my head unit because I got tired of the factory unit acting stupid but I don't have a pic of that because everyone already knows what an alpine deck looks like lol


Other plans for the spring are likely to be a WW front lip and putting my lss rear on but gotta wait for my tax return before I figure out when that will be

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get those tail lights?

I believe he painted a set of clear outer tails.

Did you put something in the outers to separate the brake lights from where the signals would be? Is that a little bit of amber I see poking through the clear area?

Tails looks fresh though. May be the picture, but I feel the outers need to be a litttttttle bit darker red.

Chad: I bought them from Ryan (ruen) I'm guessing that's why you ask

Tay: yes that's how theyre done but I didn't do it myself, I got them that way and the amber you see is actually red LEDs my girlfriend says they look orange too but I have no idea why

When did Ryan sell his tails? Never even knew he got rid of them. Can't see the pic at work, but I will check later..

I've had these taillights almost 2 years now, I think I'm going to mask them up and add a few layers of red to bring them closer to the dark on the inners

They look good on silver, the last time i was pull over was because of those lights lol.

but you're right on with a deeper red, when i was making them i ran out of the tint.

Yeah I'm going to handle all that once the weather gets warmer, might be picking up a carbon fibre trunk soon too so I might not have to worry about it, it needs work an has holes in odd spots so I need to think up a paint scheme now that'll look good with being able to fill over the holes with paint or something
